As you take the opportunity to browse over my thoughts keep in mind that I write it as I feel it. Isn't that the way all writing should be?

Life lessons learned from... Spongebob?

I absolutely love spongebob squarepants. Yes, he is a kitchen sponge and he lives in a pineapple under water but the little fella has heart. He loves his friends dearly, he can find happiness in the smallest things, he NEVER gives up (even when he should), and he does everything with enthusiasm. It is a cartoon that makes no sense most of the time (he works at a burger joint underwater, how does he cook?) but there are little things that can be translated to real life. Maybe my job wouldn't suck so much it I approached it with the joy that Spongebob does, even on the worse days "I'm ready, I'm ready". I need to love the hell out of my friends and be there whenever they need me, I need to be the Spongebob to their Patrick. When it looks like I should just give up I am going to get back behind the wheel till I "pass that boating exam". I am going to enjoy each and everyday like it's "the best day ever".

  1. Spongebob is maybe one of the best adult cartoon shows, if it weren't theres no way that it would have lasted almost 10 years already
